Job description

We are looking for a talented Production Associate II to join our 3rd Shift team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems business unit facility in York, SC .

Job Summary:

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Ensure Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you’ll help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Report Incidents: Promptly reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will contribute to a proactive safety culture.
  • Compliance: Adhering to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations ensures that all safety and environmental guidelines are met.
  • Use PPE: Consistently using appropriate personal protective equipment will protect you and your colleagues from potential hazards.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • Must be able to recognize defects through visual inspections, read height, length, comtor and caliper gauges to ensure quality adherence.
  • Must be able to record data in compliance with PDCA requirements.

Base Rate : $19.00 - $23.09/hr

Shift Premium : $1.00/hr
