Shultz Steel LLC is seeking a skilled welder to lay out, fit, torch cut, and weld components for structures such as machinery frames and tanks. Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW and safety/quality standards is required.
The role demands reading drawings, assembling parts, and repairing structures with a strong focus on workmanship. Applicants should have an associate degree in welding and 4–6 years of related experience, plus forklift and aerial lift certifications.
Lays out, fits, torch cuts, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structure forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, and building and bridge parts by performing the following duties. Responsible for fabricating, joining, and repairing metal structures using various welding processes like shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Other duties may be assigned.
