Job summary

Compass Manufacturing, an Expand Energy affiliate, is seeking an experienced Welder III to join our fabrication team. You will weld ASME code pressure vessels and related equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The role requires advanced welding techniques, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to pass ASME qualification tests. You will work with supervisors, inspectors, and fabricators to meet production goals and ensure quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience welding ASME code pressure vessels and related components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications.
• Understanding applicable industry codes and standards and passing ASME welding qualification tests.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Reliability in attendance and punctuality; ability to work with PPE in a manufacturing environment.

Expand Energy's affiliate, Compass Manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Welder III - ASME Code Vessel Welder to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for the fabrication and welding of ASME code pressure vessels and related equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld ASME code pressure vessels and related components
• Produce code-compliant vessels that meet quality and production requirements
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures
• Work effectively with supervisors, inspectors, fitters, and fellow fabricators to meet production goals
• Demonstrated experience welding ASME code pressure vessels

• Advanced ability to perform welding techniques
• Advanced ability to read and understand blueprints
• Advanced ability to interpret customer's specification and applicable industry codes and standards
• Possess advanced computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills
• Previous experience in pressure vessel manufacturing, required
• Ability to pass multiple ASME welding qualification tests
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
