Job summary

Watts in Hutchinson, KS is seeking an experienced Welder III to join the Production team. You will perform advanced welding and fabrication on boilers and pressure vessels, interpreting blueprints and weld symbols to deliver code-compliant welds.

This role requires mentoring less experienced welders, applying multiple welding processes, and helping drive safety, quality, and productivity. On-site duties and strict adherence to ASME/WPS standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience welding carbon steel per ASME/WPS.
• Mentor less experienced welders and production staff.
• On-site in Hutchinson KS with safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced welding of carbon steel per drawings, ASME Code, and WPS.
• Complete complex fabrication, fit-up and welding with minimal supervision.
• Utilize multiple welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW).
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production specs.
