Job Summary

The Welder is responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling various metalwork and piping components, operating appropriate equipment to ensure precision. The role involves performing welding tasks, including preparation and execution of welding joints according to procedures, within safety and quality standards. Additional duties may include supporting the FieldCore vision and organizational values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Use correct tools for work execution.
• Understand mechanical drawings proficiently.
• Maintain quality and safety standards at the workplace.
• Use hand grinders to grind welds back to original shape and contour.
• Review quality documents as required.
• Operate heating torches such as oxy-acetylene and gas torches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel is 100% required.
• Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Compliance with ISO certification requirements.
• Experience with power generation (gas/steam turbines) and auxiliary equipment is preferred.

Desired Characteristics

• Experienced in all job requirements, with successful performance multiple times.
• Strong skills applying fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in a field of specialization.
• Ability to operate jacking fixtures, cranes, forklifts, and torches (oxygen, acetylene, propane).
• Extensive experience in welding and grinding turbine components, TIG, MMA, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.
• English proficiency required.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage range is $20.38 to $34.61, with eligibility for overtime. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement savings, wellness reimbursement, and bonuses, as per applicable plans.
