Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America is seeking a welder for a full-time role on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday. Ideal candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in welding and be capable of operating welding machinery, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring proper welding standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in welding.
• Must be able to identify exact measurements on a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machine that feeds wire to bond materials.
• Plan work by interpreting blueprints.
• Determine welding position and type of metal to be fused.
• Select and set up welding equipment.
• Ensure welds meet standards and specifications.

Skills

Good mechanical aptitude

Ability to read blueprints

Knowledge of hand tools and power tools

Good communication skills

Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques

Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Team orientation

Crane operation experience (preferred)

Forklift operation experience (preferred)

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Certificate or Associate degree in welding

AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification
