Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in welding.
• Ability to operate welding machine and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Welders join metal parts using high heat application.
• Ensure welds meet industry standards.
• Select and set up welding equipment.

Skills

Good mechanical aptitude

Ability to read blueprints

Knowledge of hand tools and power tools

Good communication skills

Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques

Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Team orientation

Crane operation experience (preferred)

Forklift operation experience (preferred)

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certificate or Associate degree in welding
