Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Minnesota is seeking a Welder I to produce a wide variety of weldments in a safe, quality-driven environment. You will set up jobs, load/unload jigs, operate MIG/Pulse welding equipment, and verify work against prints with a focus on reducing defects.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pass Life Fitness weld test.
• MIG/Pulse welding in a manufacturing/production setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count pieces before each job to ensure parts match.
• Set up and load/unload jigs.
• Operate welding equipment per job guidelines and verify against prints.
• Inspect welds and ensure conformance; complete required paperwork.
• Report shortages or equipment issues to supervisor.
