Johnson Controls is seeking a Welder II in Marinette, WI for 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Mon-Thu with OT as needed). The Welder II will assemble and weld tank components, perform various welding processes, and ensure quality per ASME and company standards.

Qualifications include 18+, HS Diploma or equivalent, and 3–5 years of weld experience with 2G/4G tests and mag particle capability. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience in all weld processes.
• Able to pass 2G and 4G weld tests and mag particle test.

Responsabilidades

• Set up component tank parts onto shells using jigs and fixtures from prints.
• Weld components to form tanks following weld symbols and ASME code.
• Measure, fit, tack, and weld components onto shells with short arc or stick welding.
• Grind shells to ensure proper joint and perform torch/plasma arc operations as needed.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and code compliance; may perform repairs.
• Notify Maintenance about welding machine malfunctions and maintain equipment.
