Cadrex is seeking a Welder II responsible for using Manual Welding skills to manufacture weldments to defined specifications, maintaining product quality and adhering to safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in metal manufacturing, AWS MIG welding certification, and a high school diploma, ensuring timely production of quality work.

Prepare and set up necessary tools and equipment for welding jobsArrange parts for welding and staging processes Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results)Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the LeadMaintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresRead and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondenceUphold site efficiency standardsLearn and demonstrate continuous improvement for Safety and Quality standards and procedures Perform other duties as requested by the LeadAssist in other work areas as assignedUnderstand welding symbols, print tolerances and quality measuring equipmentWork completely independently without supervisionTrouble shoot and resolve issues in assigned work center Produce quality work at company standard efficiency level for assigned work centerCross trained in multiple workstations
