Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Welder II to perform manual welding and produce weldments to defined specifications and production schedules.

You will prepare tools, set up jobs, inspect quality, read prints, and collaborate with the lead to maintain safety and efficiency while developing skills across workstations. Qualifications

  • 1+ years in a metal manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Pass AWS certifications for MIG welding steel and aluminum.
  • Understand welding symbols, print tolerances and quality measuring equipment.
  • Meet or exceed company PPM level standards by consistently producing quality work.
  • Obtain and maintain weld certifications in two or more welding processes specific to employee's location.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

Description OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Welder II to use Manual Welding skills to manufacture weldments to defined specifications, workmanship standards and production schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and set up necessary tools and equipment for welding jobsArrange parts for welding and staging processes Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results)Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the LeadMaintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresRead and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
