EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to support operations in a dynamic environment. The technician will perform welding and metal fabrication tasks, ensuring safety and functionality of items. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and relevant welding certifications, with 1-5 years of experience preferred.
This role includes physical demands such as lifting and using mechanical equipment, requiring appropriate personal protective equipment. The position also involves response to emergency situations and coordination with teams.

In a safe, efficient and professional manner, the Welder/Fabricator will support the Facility Manager and meet the demands of the Customer. Will complete work in a timely manner, install, repair, and fabricate materials out of metal, ensuring availability and functionality of required items. Will practice safe work behavior, and will ensure all equipment, tools, etc. work safely and as designed, or will immediately correct any safety deficiencies that arise.
Technician is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle mechanical equipment, and climb ladders. Occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds.
Dynamic environment including offices with minimal noise level, as well as research and development/manufacturing areas with moderate noise and vehicle traffic, with exposure to dust and debris. The wearing of personal protective equipment (including eye protection, steel‑toed boots, and hearing protection as required) is required while performing routine tasks. Welding‑specific PPE is required while performing job‑related responsibilities.
