Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Welder II to join our Downingtown, PA team for full-time work on large equipment and related structures. You will perform layout and welding operations on large and mobile equipment, frames, and conveyor systems, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of welding experience, and the ability to pass welding certifications (3G–6G and overhead).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years welding experience.
• Must pass welding certification.
• Experience in horizontal, vertical, overhead and arc welding.
• Able to use oxygen/acetylene torches.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout work and all types of welding.
• Weld on large equipment and mobile equipment.
• Weld on equipment buckets, frameworks, conveyors and others.
