Valmont Industries in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Welder I for the Global Utility Division. You will weld metal components to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders, using arc and brazing techniques.

The role requires basic welding experience, ability to read blueprints, and math skills. You will operate arc welding equipment, move parts with an overhead crane, and contribute to safety-focused operations. Benefits include healthcare, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualificações

• One month of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication or professional environment.
• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).
• Knowledge of fixturing and weld setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.)

Responsabilidades

• Weld metal components to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
• Fuse metal structural components together by arc welding in the fabrication of steel electrical poles, substations, and other structures.
• Carry out welding with basic planning and lay out from blueprints or specifications; determine operation sequence.
• Move pole shafts using an overhead crane and gather parts to complete the project.
• Perform other duties as directed by leaders and management; participate in department safety and adhere to Valmont safety policies.
