Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic welding knowledge with GMAW experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret basic assembly prints and weld symbols.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Read shop orders, specifications, prints and instructions.
• Set parts in assembly fixtures, align and clamp for welds.
• Select welding parameters per procedures and ensure weld quality and cosmetic requirements.
• Handle large units and maintain efficient welding workflow across the line.
• Document visual and dimensional checks and report issues to supervision.
• Assist in training and orientation of new employees and participate in safety programs.
