Job summary

E-ONE in Ocala, FL, is seeking a Welder to contribute to our manufacturing of custom and commercial fire trucks. You will perform MIG welding, inspect welds, and assist in fabricating assemblies from blueprints and drawings.

The role requires reading tape measures, following drawings, and maintaining welding equipment in a team environment. The position offers full-time hours with opportunities to work on aluminum welds, follow safety procedures, and participate in TPM initiatives.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, and engineering drawings and perform shop math to layout, fabricate and weld.
• Must be able to operate and set up a GMAW MIG welding machine.

Responsibilities

• Welds using GMAW (MIG) per procedures and specs.
• Inspects welds for cracks, burn-through and spatter.
• Welds aluminum as required, maintains equipment, and follows TPM guidelines.
