Job Description

Welder I Fitter I Fabricator

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Welder I Fitter I Fabricator specializing in the Aerospace, Automotive, and Prototype Sheet Metal industries.

Shift Times:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM (8 hours) and 6:00AM to 4:30PM (10 hours). Must be open to working until 4:30 when needed. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
  • 2nd Shift (Flexible Start): 2:30PM – 4:30PM to 10:30PM – 2:30AM. Start times vary between 2:30PM and 4:30PM, and shifts may be 8 or 10 hours. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
  • 3rd Shift (Flexible Start): 9:30PM-11:30PM to 5:30AM-7:30AM. Start times vary, and shifts may be 8 or 10 hours. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Experience in welding, fitting, and/or fabricating
  • Proficiency in TIG, MIG, Flux Core, and Stick welding
  • Materials welded include Aluminum, Invar, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Galvanized Steel, Sheet Metal, Titanium, Kirksite, and more
  • Experience welding fixtures, bond tools, platforms, railing, tooling, etc.
  • Industries: Aerospace, Automotive, Prototype Sheet Metal
  • Machining skills with Bridgeport, Lathe, Drill Press, Break Press, Grinders, etc.
  • Ability to work from weld symbols, blueprints, diagrams
  • Welding equipment brands: Lincoln Electric, Miller

Compensation Range:

  • Hourly: $30.00 to $45.00
  • Overtime: Time and a Half after 40 hours; Double Time on Sundays
