Job summary

Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking an entry-level Welder I for a full-time on-site position in Bloomfield, NM. The role involves performing tack and finish welding of piping systems using SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW under supervision, while adhering to CCC procedures and safety policies.

The Welder I will inspect own work for conformance to drawings, operate forklifts and cranes after training, and support other plan areas as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA in Welding or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school preferred.
• 2-3 years of welding experience required.
• ASME code welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welds vessels and structural components using SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW.
• Inspects own work to ensure compliance with drawings and weld procedures.
