Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Victoria, Texas is seeking a Welder I to join our manufacturing team. You will hand weld in multiple positions using MIG and semi-automatic welders, with robotics support, to build quality attachments for Caterpillar machines.

This role offers a starting pay of $19.10 per hour with a quarterly bonus, day-one benefits, and opportunities for advancement. You will work 1st shift, Monday to Friday, in a safe, climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Welding certification or at least 6 months welding experience.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform repetitive work.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hand weld in multiple positions using MIG welders.
• Use robotic welding technology to enhance capabilities.
• Perform welding with safety and quality standard work.
• Operate jib and overhead cranes to position parts.
• Work in clean, well-ventilated and safe weld zones.
• Be on-time and reliable.
