Job summary

Caterpillar in Victoria, TX is seeking a Welder I to join our team and reliably produce high-quality attachments for Caterpillar machines.

As a Welder I you will hand weld in multiple positions using MIG, operate robotic welders, read blueprints, and adhere to safety and standard work while maintaining productivity in a climate-controlled facility.

Starting pay is $19.10 per hour with a quarterly bonus, day-one benefits, and opportunities for advancement within manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Possess a welding certification OR a minimum of 6 months welding experience.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrates ability to follow directions and standard work.
• Must have ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hand weld in multiple positions using MIG welders and .052 wire.
• Use robotic welding technology to enhance capabilities and efficiency.
• Perform advanced welding techniques with safety and standard work.
• Operate jib and overhead cranes to position parts and product.
• Work in clean, ventilated weld zones with latest technologies.
• Be on-time and reliable.
