Job Overview

The PCX Welder I adheres to engineering and quality specifications and performs work according to PCX safety standards.

A Day In The Life
  • Follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Fabricate and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques and devices.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the suitable welding process with supervision.
  • Inspect completed welds for structural soundness.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and protocols for hazardous environments.
  • Complete apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty if required.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds consistently.
  • Work 10 or more hours per day and weekends as required.
  • 1-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, or certification.
