Accelevation LLC in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a Welder to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures using welding techniques. You will read blueprints, set up parts, and ensure precision and safety in all finishing steps.

Responsibilities include welding, cutting, grinding, and completing required documentation while maintaining equipment and workspace. A HS diploma and 6 months+ welding experience are preferred; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualificações

  • High School diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ months hands-on welding and fabrication experience: cutting, welding/brazing, drilling, marking/engraving, welding of dissimilar metals a plus.
  • Proficient in welding safety, weld filler selection, weld processing parameters, fixturing.
  • Familiarity with metallurgy, weld joint analysis, backing gas applications.
  • Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal oversight.

  • Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
  • Notifies Team Leader of faulty equipment or defective materials.
  • Performs other related duties including Machine Operation.
  • Performs Quality Control and documents all required records.
  • Performs prep work and grinding.

Your Impact

As a welder for Accelevation, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and products using various welding techniques and equipment. This role involves setting up parts for welding, utilizing hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures to ensure precision and quality. The Welder interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to execute work accurately. Key tasks include welding, cutting, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces to meet specifications and safety standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
  • Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
  • Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.
  • Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
  • Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
  • Notifies Team Leader when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned including Machine Operation.
  • Perform Quality Control and process all required documentation.
  • Perform Prep work and grinding.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6months+ of hands on experience in welding and fabrication applications: cutting, welding/brazing, drilling, marking/engraving, welding of dissimilar metals a plus.
  • Proficient in welding safety, weld filler selection, weld processing parameters, fixturing.
  • Familiarity and experience with metallurgy, weld joint analysis, backing gas applications.
  • Strong cognitive and clear communication skills which emphasize attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects to completion with minimal oversight, while demonstrating significant problem-solving ability.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Employees must be able to talk and hear and frequently sit, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Regular lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and very loud noise levels requiring hearing protection.
