Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Austin, TX is seeking a Welder I to join our manufacturing team in a cleanroom environment. The role focuses on assembling ultra-clean orbital welds, labeling, cleaning, and maintaining inventory with strict adherence to quality standards.

Ideal candidates have high attention to detail, basic mechanical skills, and experience with hand and power tools; orbital welding experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required, with AA technical degree preferred.

• Knowledge of common hand tools and power tools; ability to identify common hardware and build to simple instructions.

• Strong communication skill and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focused.
• Basic computer skill.
• Previous Orbital Welding experience is a plus.

UCT is looking for a talented Welder I to join us in Austin, TX.

The Orbital Welder I is responsible for manufacturing ultra-clean orbital weld assemblies in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. This role ensures compliance with strict quality standards by performing cleaning, labeling, and assembly tasks, maintaining inventory, and conducting routine equipment maintenance. The position requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong focus on quality and teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans, labels, and etches gas lines according to quality standards and written instructions.
• Bags gas lines and assemblies.
• Maintains parts and inventory; performs audits on parts as required.
• Performs daily, routine and preventative maintenance on cleanroom equipment.
• Follows all safety rules and procedures.
