Position: Welder I

Location: Equipment & Assembly Plant – Pittsburgh, PA

Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hrs / Wk - 3 shift operation

Job Responsibilities

An entry level position under supervision, performing tack welding and finish welding of piping systems using SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW procedures. Certification to CCC procedures is required. Inspects own work for compliance and makes repairs. Operates forklifts, jib cranes, and overhead cranes after training. Assists in other plant areas as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-3 years welding experience required
• Associates degree preferred
• ASME code welding preferred
