Essential Duties

• Familiarity with TIG welding
• Ability to pass visual inspection of a weld sample; 1F1/4" plate fillet tack weld
• Basic blueprint reading skills, ability to read a tape measure and calipers
• Accurate reporting of shop floor production data via computer and/or written reports
• Perform operator maintenance on equipment

Education, Experience, and Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant work experience is also acceptable
• Ability to obtain AWS certification in all relevant welding areas
• Operation of small power tools, hand tools, and computerized/high-pressure equipment
