Job Overview

Performs welding and other assembly line tasks to build coaches efficiently. Maintains a clean workspace and follows detailed safety and quality instructions.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety precautions and regulations for welding.
  • Operate welding equipment proficiently.
  • Interpret drawings, bills of materials, and instructions.
  • Set up fixtures, weld parameters, and fill materials.
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Use manual and power tools for finish grinding.
  • Maintain basic welding equipment.
  • Problem solve as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to read tape measures and measuring devices.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to climb, bend, stoop, stand, squat, grasp, and work overhead.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks sitting or standing.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
