Job OverviewPerforms welding and other assembly line tasks to build coaches efficiently. Maintains a clean workspace and follows detailed safety and quality instructions.
Primary Responsibilities- Follow all safety precautions and regulations for welding.
- Operate welding equipment proficiently.
- Interpret drawings, bills of materials, and instructions.
- Set up fixtures, weld parameters, and fill materials.
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Use manual and power tools for finish grinding.
- Maintain basic welding equipment.
- Problem solve as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to read tape measures and measuring devices.
- Attention to detail.
- Physical ability to climb, bend, stoop, stand, squat, grasp, and work overhead.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks sitting or standing.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
