Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, located in Monroe, WI, is seeking a Welder for our 1st shift to join a team known for innovation and dedication to excellence.

As part of the Aebi Schmidt Group, you will read blueprints, lay out components, and MIG weld per GMAW standards, contributing to high-quality truck and trailer equipment. Prior welding certification or 1 year of relevant experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school in welding/fabrication or relevant experience.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling, or bending positions.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions as detailed in blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Reads and comprehends blueprints.
• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding from blueprints.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds part to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, GMAW MIG.
• Fabricate and design non-engineered parts.
