Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand, located in Monroe, WI, is seeking a Welder for 1st shift. The role involves reading blueprints, planning layouts, and performing MIG welding to fabricate and assemble parts for trucks and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have at least a one-year welding certificate or equivalent experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varied positions including squatting and bending.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school in welding/fabrication or relevant experience.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling, or bending positions.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions as detailed in blueprints.
• Proficient in adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
• Proficient in the computation of rate, ratio, and percent and its application in practical situations.
