Aerotek in Farmington, MN is hiring MIG Welders to join a growing fabrication team that builds custom and production exhaust systems for various industries. This contract-to-hire role requires MIG welding and blueprint reading, with opportunities to advance and learn fabrication beyond welding.

Pay ranges from $22-$36 per hour, with benefits available after hire. Fully onsite facility with modern equipment and team training.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld mild steel and stainless steel components.
• Tack weld and assemble exhaust systems from prints.

• Fabricate and fit parts to tight specifications.
• Use fabrication equipment including brake presses, shears, rollers, and other equipment.
• Perform quality checks and measurements.
• Support a team-focused fabrication environment.

MIG Welder | Custom Fabrication - Will pay up to $35/hr

We're hiring MIG Welders to join a growing fabrication team that builds custom and production exhaust systems for industries including power generation, marine, oil & gas, construction, locomotive, and off-road equipment.

Whether your welding experience comes from a manufacturing shop, vocational school, farm experience, or fabrication environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• MIG weld mild steel and stainless steel components
• Tack weld and assemble exhaust systems from prints
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Work on both custom-built and production projects
• Fabricate and fit parts to tight specifications
• Use fabrication equipment including:
• Brake Presses
• Shears
• Rollers
• Other metal fabrication equipment
• Perform quality checks and measurements
• Support a team-focused fabrication environment

What We're Looking For

MIG welding experience

Ability to read blueprints

Understanding of weld symbols

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
