Eads Cooling Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Welder in Tulsa, OK. You will read blueprints, set up welding machines, and ensure welds meet customer and industry standards, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
• Must pass welding tests per company standards.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 welding standards.
• Adheres to safety protocols and maintains a clean workspace.
• Proficient in using appropriate PPE.
• Regular attendance with high-quality workmanship and productivity.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow work instructions and precision.
• Team-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to identify welding requirements and ensure proper execution.
• Set up and operate welding machines, adjusting amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse settings as specified for the job.
• Inspect welding machines, cables, and all associated equipment to ensure proper functionality and safe operation.
• Determine the appropriate welding technique, position, and jig needed based on weld specifications and material thickness.
• Guide the electrode or welding gun along the designated weld line, maintaining proper arc length and speed to achieve the correct depth of fusion and bead.
• Select and implement the most efficient welding process for moving raw materials or finished products in various situations.
• Examine completed welds for bead size, cracks, or defects, and recommend or perform necessary repairs.
• Clean and grind excess weld, slag, and splatter to ensure smooth finishes.
• Clean, grind, or degrease parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Safely operate manlifts and cranes to assist with material handling and positioning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the team and production goals.
