Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter for a local structural steel fabrication shop in Waco, TX. You will read blueprints, fabricate components, and weld structural assemblies to exact specifications, ensuring tight tolerances and quality.

Candidates must provide their own welding gear and be prepared to complete a welding and blueprint test during the hiring process. This is a full-time, evaluation-to-hire position with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Structural steel fabrication and welding experience.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints.
• Experience building frames, studs, and structural assemblies.
• Burn table operation experience.
• Beam cutting, drilling, and layout experience.
• Strong measuring and fitting skills.
• Ability to pass welding and blueprint tests.
• Must provide own welding gear.

Responsibilities

Welder / Fitter – Structural Steel Fabrication

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a local steel fabrication company

Location: Waco, TX
Pay: $18–$24/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time | Overtime available
Position Type: Evaluation Hire (Temp-to-Perm)

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Welder/Fitters with structural steel fabrication experience. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, fabricate components, and weld structural assemblies to specification.

Applicants must supply their own welding gear and be prepared to complete a welding and blueprint test during the hiring process.
