Job summary

Ironworks Inc. in Dickinson, ND is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to perform high quality cuts and welds on gates, pressure vessels, cattle guards and structural assemblies. Working from engineering drawings and weld procedures, you will ensure sound welds and dimensional accuracy.

This full-time role requires reading drawings, passing a weld test, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 75 lbs. You must pass pre-employment screenings and be able to work evenings/weekends as production

Qualifications

• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math for tolerances.
• Stand/walk/bend for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Must pass a weld test and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit-up and weld pressure vessels, structural steel assemblies, gates, cattle guards, etc.
• Prepare weld joints to proper dimensions; grinding, gouging and cleaning for sound welds.
• Weld in multiple positions and fit pipe spools, fittings per drawings.
• Maintain welder qualification records and ensure continuity welds.
