Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in TIG and MIG welding required.

We are hiring a fabricator to form part of our manufacturing division! Candidates must have previous experience and be proficient in TIG & MIG welding. This will be a hybrid position as welder you will have welding projects but also receive training to eventually work in a fabricator role.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Work in sheet metal fabrication, bending, cutting, fitting metal, read blue-prints and completing projects
2. MIG & TIG welding with stainless steel and aluminum material on small gauge material
3. Learn how to operate machinery/equipment on a daily basis: Autoshear, auto bender, press brake, CNC punch, etc.
4. Detail and finishing on trims, metal panels, and other projects
5. Use various hand and power tools: sheet metal shears, grinders, sander, aluminum spool gun
6. Complete projects from start to finish, individually, and as a team

Requirements

1. 1-2 years' experience in Welding, specifically TIG AND MIG (24 gauge-quarter inch)
2. Experience with the following: measuring, cutting metal, reading blue-prints, machinery/tools
3. Experience with some fabrication equipment and machinery: using lathes, notchers, shears, press brakes, etc.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
5. Has reliable transportation
6. Willing to submit background check and drug test*
