Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to support continuous improvement and safety in production. You will set up and weld parts according to blueprints or schematics and assist with assembly and other warehouse duties as needed.

Candidates should be comfortable welding stainless and carbon steel as well as aluminum, with MIG, TIG and flux-core experience preferred. Reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, straightedges is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG, TIG and flux-core welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with stainless, carbon steel and aluminum welding.
• Mechanical aptitude with a safety/quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and weld parts according to blueprints or schematics.
• Weld parts and support assembly and other warehouse duties as needed.
