Roper Staffing is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator for a growing company in the Manning, SC area. Starting pay is $18.00/hour, with potential increases based on welding and fabrication experience.

The role requires MIG, TIG, and Stick welding proficiency, ability to read blueprints, and the capability to work with steel and aluminum. Hours are 8am-5pm with some seasonal overtime. Safety and quality are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick/Arc welding to fabricate components.
• Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum parts and assemblies.
• Cut, fit, assemble, modify, and repair metal components.
• Operate plasma cutters, torches, grinders, saws, drills and other fab equipment.
• Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and fit.
• Inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality and compliance.
• Troubleshoot repair needs and propose fabrication solutions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Pay: $18.00+ per hour, based on experience

Roper Staffing is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator for a growing company in the Manning, SC area. This position is ideal for someone with strong hands-on welding and fabrication skills who is comfortable working with a variety of metals and completing custom repair and fabrication projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick/Arc welding
• Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum components
• Cut, fit, assemble, modify, and repair metal components
• Operate plasma cutters, torches, grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication equipment
• Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and proper fit
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality
• Troubleshoot repair needs and determine appropriate fabrication solutions
• Safely operate hand and power tools used in a fabrication shop
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications:

• Previous welding and fabrication experience required
• Blueprints Reading
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding strongly
• Experience welding both steel and aluminum
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to measure, cut, fit, and fabricate accurately
• Ability to work independently and complete custom repair/fabrication projects
• Dependable with a strong commitment to quality and safety
• Must be able to successfully complete a welding test

Pay starts at $18.00/hour and may be higher based on welding/fabrication experience and skill level.
