Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, job travelers, cut lists, and BOMs.
• Measure work pieces to ensure quality and repeatability.
• Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Identify defects or equipment issues and report them to supervision.

This is a hands-on fabrication role ideal for experienced welders who can work independently, read blueprints, and produce high-quality tubular steel components with precision.

Typical daily duties:

• Layout, fit, MIG weld, and finish tubular-steel parts per customer specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, cut lists, and BOMs
• Measure work pieces throughout fabrication to ensure quality and repeatability
• Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on welding equipment
• Identify defects or equipment issues and report them to supervision

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency using tape measures, calipers, and related measuring tools
• Strong blueprint reading skills, including decimals and fractions
• Understanding of material behavior, including heat-related shrinkage/expansion
