Job summary

TradeWorX is seeking a Structural MIG Welder for a first-shift role in Springdale, PA. The ideal candidate will weld structural and miscellaneous steel components used in commercial construction, including beams, stairs, handrails, and railings.

Safety-conscious with hands-on MIG experience is essential to produce strong, consistent welds. Applicants should be able to read basic blueprints, follow shop instructions, and maintain an organized, clean work area while commuting reliably to

Qualifications

• Hands-on MIG welding experience with steel.
• Experience in a welding shop or metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to produce consistent welds and assess weld quality.
• Familiarity with welding equipment, grinders, measuring tools, and PPE.
• Ability to commute to Springdale, PA for first shift.
• Structural steel fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel and miscellaneous fabricated steel components.
• Weld materials used in staircases, handrails, railings, beams, and other steel assemblies.
• Prepare steel surfaces and joints for welding.
• Follow shop instructions, measurements, and fabrication specifications.

Location: Springdale, PA Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift

TradeWorX is hiring a Structural MIG Welder for a first-shift opportunity in a steel fabrication shop in Springdale, PA. This position focuses on MIG welding structural and miscellaneous steel components used in commercial and industrial construction. Projects may include steel beams, staircases, handrails, railings, and custom steel assemblies. We are looking for a dependable welder with hands-on MIG experience who takes pride in producing strong, consistent welds and working safely in a fabrication shop environment.

Job Duties

Requirements

• Previous hands-on MIG welding experience with steel.
• Experience in a welding shop, metal fabrication facility, or similar production environment.
• Ability to produce consistent welds and recognize basic weld quality concerns.
• Familiarity with welding equipment, grinders, measuring tools, and proper PPE.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely around steel fabrication equipment.
• Ability to reliably commute to Springdale, PA, for first shift.
• Structural steel fabrication experience and basic blueprint reading skills preferred.
