Job summary

AMTRACO in Wisconsin seeks a Welder Fabricator to join our team and build highly engineered metal tooling and racks. You will follow blueprints, measure materials, and weld to exact specs, contributing to product development with feedback for better, faster, cheaper manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has prior welding experience (MIG/TIG), willingness to work from schematics, and the stamina for manual fabrication tasks; a focus on quality and repeatable output is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Stand, crouch, and lift heavy materials as part of fabrication duties.

EPSI-Welder Fabricator Job Summary

A great candidate knows that welding is the intersection of art and science; the job of bringing similar and dissimilar materials together so that they stand the test of time takes a special type of person.

As part of our team of professional fabricators, you construct and manufacture highly engineered plating rack systems (tooling); a necessity in driving the manufacturing economy of the US and neighboring countries.

While you will be asked to follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts used in later assembly processes; we also expect the right candidate to provide feedback on how parts can be made better, faster and cheaper to drive product development.

You are responsible for the quality of your output, so you must be able to perform simple tests to ensure weld quality and tolerance in order to be considered for this position.

Welder Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities

Welder Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications

• Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment
• Blueprint reading and knowledge of common welding symbol
