SPECIALTY FABRICATING COMPANY in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a talented Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This full-time in-person position involves fabricating assemblies for various construction projects and ensuring quality through attention to detail.

This is a Full‑Time, in‑person employment position.

What Your Role Looks Like

• Fabricating complete assemblies used in the erecting process of small to large buildings
• Finish grinding of rails for both aesthetic and safety purposes
• Working with other fabricators to solve complex fabrication tasks for specialty projects

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator – Photos or Videos of past work is highly encouraged
• Strong understanding of different welding procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a fabrication environment
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and efficiency
• Have the ability to adapt when jobs require
• Experience with finish grinding of welded materials – specifically finish grinding of rails in relation to NOMA designations
• Past experience with acetylene torch or plasma cutter is a plus

• Work is not returned due to fabrication error
• Helping your Team members complete complex tasks
