Job summary

Supreme Manufacturing LLC in Stoneboro, PA is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our shop. You will perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding, study blueprints, interpret welding symbols, and assist in setting up equipment.

You will inspect welds, maintain a clean, safe work area, and cooperate with journeymen on assemblies. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to operate a forklift or overhead crane when needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Welding training enrollment preferred.
  • 1–3 years of related welding experience; or no experience with an associate's degree/certifications.
  • Basic welding technique knowledge and tooling.
  • Must pass 3G limited weld test.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Capable of operating forklift and overhead cranes.
  • CPR/First Aid and MSHA training certifications desired.

Responsibilities

  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
  • Inspect welds for defects and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, and industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist in assembling and disassembling metal structures.
  • Transport materials and equipment as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Document time spent welding by entering time with correct job code and cost code.
  • Manage production time efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Supreme Manufacturing LLC specializes in manufacturing clamshell dredges, conveyors, rock barges, and more. Our commitment to innovation and excellence has established us as a leader in the industry. We are looking for talented and dedicated professionals to join our shop as a Welder/Fabricator.
We have both first and second shifts available.
First Shift: Mon - Fri 7am - 3:30pm.
Second shift:Mon – Thu 3pm – 1:30am.

Job Summary:

  • Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May have no experience plus an associate's degree, additional training, or certification(s).
  • Basic knowledge of welding techniques and tools.
  • Complete and pass a 3G limited weld test.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must be capable and competent operating forklift trucks and overhead cranes.
  • Must obtain CPR/First Aid and MSHA training certifications.
