Overview
We're seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with strong aluminum TIG welding experience to join our growing fabrication team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building structural and cosmetic components for adventure vehicles, including bumpers, roof racks, sliders, flatbeds, interior frames, and custom accessories. The ideal candidate is a precision welder and fabricator who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom parts and components focusing on high-quality aluminum TIG welding.
- Perform MIG welding and light steel fabrication as needed.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, tape measures, and blueprints to create precise, reliable parts.
- Operate shop tools such as band saws, chop saws, plasma cutters, grinders, tube benders, and drill presses.
- Assemble and fit fabricated parts into vehicle builds with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to prototype and refine custom components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
- Provide input on design improvements based on fabrication experience and field use.
Work Location
In Office, Springfield, Missouri (444 W Tampa St, Springfield, MO 65806)
Work Schedule
Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm
Qualifications/Requirements
The role involves fabricating custom parts with an emphasis on high-quality aluminum TIG welding, along with MIG welding and light steel fabrication. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, and operating various shop tools. Precision and attention to detail are essential.
Education/Experience/Skills
- 2+ years of professional welding/fabrication experience (automotive or off-road preferred)
- Proven proficiency in TIG welding aluminum
- Experience with MIG welding and working with mild/stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled in using metalworking tools and shop equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship pride
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Test welding required at interview

- Exposure to hazardous materials with proper PPE
