• Ability to read Welding Blueprints.
• Good math and measuring skills.

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment.
• Perform MIG, TIG welding, and fabricate products based on blueprints.
• Perform daily maintenance and clean equipment.

Job description

Fantastic opportunity for a Welder / Fabricator to work at a local manufacturing company that is a leader in its field. This is a Furst-to-Hire position on the 1st shift, offering a lot of overtime! The company provides excellent benefits upon hire, including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, life insurance and retirement plan. Bonus for good attendance!

Hours : 5am to 3pm, M-F

Pay : $18-$23 / hour DOE

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment
• Perform MIG, TIG welding
• Fabricate & build products based on welding blueprints
• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Account for and dispose of scrap metal
• Complete welding, assembly, and fabricating
• Communicate with management and team

Welder / Fabricator Requirements :

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior MIG, TIG & Fabrication experience required
• Ability to read Welding Blueprints
• Assembly experience
• Knowledge of steel fabricating
• Good math and measuring skills, including ability to convert fractions to decimals
