We are a growing manufacturer of custom industrial and wastewater treatment equipment, known for precision-built tanks, skids, and integrated systems. We’re seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team and help us deliver high-quality equipment built to spec from CAD drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld 304SS 3/16" tanks, frames, and custom components using MIG/TIG welding processes.
- Read and interpret CAD-based fabrication drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks prints).
- Measure, cut, drill, and prepare material as per job specifications.
- Install basic instrumentation (e.g., radar level sensors, mixers, pumps, shaft/sprockets) during final assembly.
- Occasional travel for startups and/or basic instrumentation installs/service.
- Run basic conduit and wire routing to support equipment buildouts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow shop safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in welding/fabrication (industrial or equipment manufacturing).
- Comfortable learning about and utilizing automation - CNC mill machine, robotic welding arms, etc. Experience preferred.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and interpret weld symbols, material specs, and layouts.
- Comfortable using hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly (conduit, wiring, sensors).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.
Additional preferred but not required:
- Forklift operation experience.
- Familiarity with stainless steel and carbon steel fabrication.
- Experience installing/maintaining level sensors, mixers, or various process instrumentation.
