Job summary

M&M Recycling in Locust Grove, GA is seeking a Night Shift Welder to maintain and repair heavy industrial equipment used in scrap metal operations. Shift hours are 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

You will weld, fabricate, and repair equipment such as shredders, cranes, balers, and excavators; perform preventive maintenance; and coordinate with maintenance and operations teams while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of welding and equipment repair experience.
• Must provide your own tools and MIG welder.
• Ability to work independently during night shift hours (5:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
• Strong understanding of safety practices and industrial repair standards.

M&M Recycling is looking for a skilled Night Shift Welder to join our Locust Grove team. This position plays a key role in maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment used in our scrap metal operations. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and experienced working with large machinery in an industrial yard setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on heavy equipment such as shredders, cranes, shear cranes, balers, and excavators
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and structural components
• Work safely and efficiently in outdoor and industrial environments
• Communicate and coordinate repairs with maintenance and operations teams

Requirements:

• Must provide your own tools and MIG welder
