What You'll Do As Welder/Fabricator:
- Weld & fit trailer steel frames and components while meeting quality and time standards set by your supervisor.
- Apply Standard Work, 5S, and other Lean manufacturing methods to support consistent, efficient production.
- Collaborate with the team to reduce production times and eliminate defective products.
- Uphold Belmont Quality Standards and check your work for accuracy and craftsmanship.
- Follow safety guidelines and stay alert to your processes and surroundings.
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Our Ideal Welder/Fabricator:
- Experienced: Has at least 1 year of MIG welding experience or a trade school—preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training to entry-level candidates who are eager to learn & grow.
- Self-Motivated: Stays focused and productive throughout the day without constant direction or supervision.
- Hardworking: Brings a strong work ethic and takes pride in completing tasks with accuracy, quality, and care.
- Humble, Hungry, and Smart: Works well with others, shows eagerness to learn, and uses common sense to navigate team dynamics.
- Genuine & Honest: Shows integrity, communicates openly, and contributes to a respectful, trustworthy work environment.
- Communicative: Shares ideas, asks good questions, and helps keep the team informed and aligned.
- Active: Able to stand for a full 10-hour shift and lift up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
