Job summary

Portable Conveyors Limited is seeking a MOBILE SITE FITTER with strong plant fitting and mechanical engineering skills, including diesel engines and hydraulic systems.

Experience in welding/fabrication (MIG preferred; TIG an advantage) and a valid full driving licence are required. You will work on customer sites across the UK and assist refurbishing equipment in our yards and workshops when not on-site.

Requirements

Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint a MOBILE SITE FITTER.

The Successful Applicant Will Be

• An experienced plant fitter and mechanical engineer with extensive knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• A competent welder/fabricator (MIG expected, TIG an advantage).
• Holder of a site safety card (SPA or equivalent) and FLT licence.

Responsibilities

• Work on customer sites across the UK.
• Assist the team in refurbishing equipment in our yards/workshops when not on-site.
