Position Summary

The main duties of the Fabricator/Welder position are to fabricate architectural products utilizing various metals including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Both MIG and TIG welding techniques will be used.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Fabricate architectural products according to blueprint instructions
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals
• Cut, lay out, and fabricate aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel products
• Support the production warehouse
• Perform other duties as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Safely perform MIG and TIG welding, use hand tools, and utilize protective equipment in accordance with company standards
• Basic knowledge of metal finishing and tooling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Follow directions and complete work on time while maintaining quality standards
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, with team members and customers

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Experience working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Experience using grinders, dyna files, and pipe polishers
• Basic knowledge of metal finishing and tooling

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Other Requirements

• Full-Time position, temp-to-hire after 90 days
