Job summary

Wiederhoeft Manufacturing seeks an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our shop floor. You will read drawings, set up parts, assemble components with precision, and verify conformance to specifications.

Proficiency with tape measures, blueprints, and basic measuring instruments is required. You will operate a variety of tools including press brake, band saw, grinder, plasma cutter, and forklift as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with welding and reading drawings.
• Ability to read measuring instruments including tape measures.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and fractions/decimals.

Responsibilities

• Performs own setups and reads part prints or job specifications.
• Assembles components accurately and efficiently.
• Checks conformance to print/specifications and makes corrections as needed.
• Operates tools and equipment (press brake, band saw, grinder, plasma cutter) and uses measuring tools.
• Maintains safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

The successful applicant should have welding experience, able to read drawings, follow written and verbal instructions, be a problem solver.
