Job summary

H&K Equipment, Inc is seeking a skilled Welder‑Fabricator to join our team in Coraopolis, PA. This role supports both the new manufacturing and repair of industrial material handling equipment and requires experience in multiple welding disciplines along with the ability to read blueprints.

The successful candidate will collaborate with mechanics and engineers to complete custom fabrication and repair projects, fabricating tooling and fixtures as needed while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials and thicknesses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication schematics.
• Fit, assemble, and prepare structural steel components for welding.
• Modify and repair existing weldments.
• Fabricate tooling, fixtures, and custom components.
• Collaborate with mechanics and engineers to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
• Perform basic mechanical work to install or remove weldment components on equipment.
