Location:

Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication on heavy‑duty trailer components in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication documents to accurately manufacture and assemble components.
• Execute vertical welds and other required welding procedures while maintaining high‑quality workmanship and structural integrity standards.
• Utilize proper pre‑heating procedures, welding techniques, and fabrication methods to ensure quality and consistency.
• Work independently to complete assigned projects while meeting production schedules, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and material characteristics to support fabrication and repair activities.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous experience in welding and fabrication required.
• Strong MIG welding skills with the ability to produce high‑quality welds in accordance with specifications and industry standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication documents.
• Experience performing vertical welding and other welding positions as required.
• Knowledge of pre‑heating procedures, welding techniques, and welding best practices.
• Understanding of metallurgy, metal properties, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Qualified candidates must successfully complete a hands‑on welding and fabrication assessment to determine skill level and appropriate placement within the team.

Welder/Fabricator – 2nd Shift – Carlisle, PA -$23 -$25 per hour
